Directions to Albatros Guesthouse in Margate

From Durban, travel south along the N2 toward Port Shepstone. Go through the toll at Oribi Plaza (near Port Shepstone) & continue south along the R61.

Take the Margate/Uvongo off ramp (2nd turn off after toll plaza). Turn left into Seaslopes Rd and continue until you get to a set of traffic lights at a T-junction. Turn right into Marine Drive (R620), drive through Manaba Beach, towards Margate.

As you approach Margate, a Total Petrol Station will be on your right, after the first traffic lights turn left into Margate. After you have turned, a  Sasol Petrol Station will be on your right.  Follow the road past the Margate Hotel, continue past, FNB Bank on the left. Shoprite, Jet Stores, Pep Stores on your right. Take first road right after Shoprite – Jet Stores is on the corner.  This is Ridge Road and you will see the first signpost to “The Albatros Guest House”. Carry on up Ridge Rd to the second signpost in the park, there turn left into Homestead Rd which is the first road to the left.   The Albatros Guesthouse is no 20 Homestead Rd, a multi storey building situated on the right hand side of the road just after the bend  – look for high Brick wall.
